This dearly departed celeb had a short but memorable Hollywood stint, indeed. Taking on daring roles, she showed everyone that she’s got what it takes to have a career not entirely made up of doing “sweetheart” roles but controersial ones that would test her mettle. Her unconventional good looks and curves helped a lot with making her a believable fucked-up character, and Brittany Murphy has proven to all and sundry that she can do it.
